ACID HOUSE PARTY - February 1998 - 60x80 inches(150x200cms) 

Made from commercial and hand-dyed cottons, depicting a house decorated for a party, with balloons and streamers as seen with blurred vision. 3rd for Geometric design at the National Patchwork Championship at Olympia, London 1998.Merit at The British Quilt Exhibition 1998.

POT ROSE - November 1997 - 70x70 inches(175x175cms) 

Made for the Quilters Newsletter Magazine contest: A Rhapsody of Roses. Judges Choice, featured on the cover of the magazine in June 1998. This quilt was the inspiration for all subsequent Pot Plant quilts, which can be seen in the book 'Dutch Flower Pots'.

SPICED FRUIT - May 1997 - 83x83 inches(208x208cms) 

May 1997 An adaptation of the Pickle Dish block, featuring some African fabrics. The quilt appeared on the cover of the Summer 1998 issue of 'The Quilter' . 2nd for the Theme entry at The National Patchwork Championships at Ascot in 1997. Finalist at Houston Quilt Festival 1998.
